Välkommen till Relationella praktiker #2, en fördjupning i begreppet posthumanism ur ett relationellt och konstnärligt perspektiv. I ett modererat panelsamtal (på engelska) med konstnären Delal Seker, designern Thomas Laurien och socialantropolog och hantverksbaserade designern Alice Hultdin, kommer vi att diskutera varför det posthumanistiska perspektivet spelar en viktig roll och hur det kan arbetas med i en konstnärlig praktik.
Eftermiddagen kommer även att innehålla en jojk framförd av den samiske konstnären Kari Hahne Lundström och en vegansk middag vid eldplatsen.

Thomas Laurien is a designer and curator based in Gothenburg. He holds a PhD in design and is a senior lecturer at HDK-Valand - Academy of Art and Design. Laurien is currently deeply engaged in the association "Naturkulturföreningen skimmer och härvor" and the research project "Whose Body of Water?".
Delal Seker is fascinated by the more-than-human present in her work. She translates by her speculative artwork the more-than-human simply as the realm: a place that human knowledge can never reach.
The starting point of her artistic practice is speculative stories that she has constructed with the help of various mediums. Through these stories, she focuses on creating dialogues between human and nonhuman. Beyond the object-subject philosophical distinction, this effort can also be called an attempt to establish a more ingenious world with ambiguous borders and believing in power of the matter agency.
As an editor and artist, she continues to produce in the city of Gothenburg within the "Design and Posthumanism" community.
Alice Hultdin is a craft-based designer and social anthropologist with a background in handicrafts. In her artistic practice she combines perspectives of design, heritage and sustainability – mainly from a posthumanist perspective. In September Alice was in residency at AiC.
Kari Hahne Lundström är en samisk läkare och konstnär, verksam i Kiruna och Göteborg. Kari kommer att ge oss en jojk.
